Your skin is a reflection of your health, and beautiful skin relies on the healthy flow of blood and energy to the face. According to Traditional Chinese Medicine; skin issues are caused by internal imbalances which may manifest as fine lines, wrinkles, dark circles, puffy eyes, dry skin, and rosacea.

Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture (also known as Cosmetic Acupuncture) is a more holistic approach to beauty and skincare. It is a safe, non-invasive treatment where tiny, sterile needles are inserted over the face and body along meridian lines and acupuncture points to increase blood circulation, stimulate natural collagen production and improve skin and muscle tone. The face receives an increase of blood to nourish, oxygenate, and moisturize the skin from the inside out. All cosmetic acupuncture treatments have a holistic approach with additional acupuncture points along the body to address the root causes of any imbalances.

Cosmetic acupuncture is suitable for anyone who wants a more holistic approach to skincare.

The initial course of treatment is between 10-12 sessions, 1-2 times a week for the best results. Each individual will respond to the treatment differently depending on their age and lifestyle. Results may be noticeable after 6-7 sessions. Maintenance may be needed once a month.

Registered Kinesiology - Osteopathy (Current Study)

Sonia offers a treatment that is a combination of Craniosacral Therapy and Reiki, and brings with it a lifetime of both professional and personal studies and research in meditation, yoga, Feldenkrais, psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, focusing, dreamwork, creative visualization, quantum medicine, energy healing and Shamanic healing.

The client leads the treatment by choosing what type of interaction they are comfortable with, usually there is some talking before and after a treatment, while during the treatment there may be all or mostly silence. Some clients want a more active involvement and in these cases some verbal guidance can be offered to help the client find their own path toward healing.

The type of treatment that Sonia offers has evolved from the many puzzle pieces of techniques learned, programs attended and life lessons experienced, and is perhaps most easily understood using the language of the nervous system: Most clients describe a profound sense of inner peace after a treatment that in many cases is directly connected to the release of tension or illness in the body/mind. The client’s nervous system is encouraged and supported to relax and switch into healing mode (switching from a sympathetic to a parasympathetic response).

One of the more inexplicable aspects of a treatment is Sonia’s ability to listen to the brain’s waves and to support the release of disharmonies and balancing of the hemispheres. Clients in recovery from concussions or brain injuries often share profound healing experiences after treatments.

Sonia encourages her clients to take an active role in their own healing journey, and to come to a treatment with the knowledge that they are in charge and are not the passive recipient of learned skills and techniques. In Sonia’s own words a treatment is a profoundly empowering energetic interaction and exchange on a soul level. Both client and practitioner benefit and participate in the healing state that is created.

When Sonia is not working she seeks out natural environments for grounding and healing for herself and her family, whether it is camping, hiking or meditating. She also enjoys creative work, including beading, sewing, painting and wood carving. Her four children are her most favourite challenge for healing, growing and fostering an environment of unconditional acceptance and love.

Nikki is a trauma informed, Registered Holistic Nutritionist, and Yoga Teacher specializing in digestive health, stress management, and mindfulness.

Her healing journey began at a very young age after a severe motor vehicle accident landed her in hospital. After a multitude of surgeries, she devoted most of her teens focusing on her physical and mental rehabilitation, first relearning how to walk and later navigating terrible digestive issues. Feeling inspired and motivated to understand her recovery she enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Integrative Science at the University of Toronto. However, after a semester abroad, she discovered a whole new form of nourishment which led her to focus one of her majors to Marine Biology. Intrigued by the ocean and its ability to heal, she moved to Australia after graduating and began a career in ocean conservation.

Over 10 years of working with various species and colleagues along the Great Barrier Reef, she acknowledged the importance of co-healing with the planet and the unfortunate widespread disconnect between people and the planet. “If we do not connect to our planet, we miss a vital connection to ourselves”. She began an inward journey and started her yogic studies in Byron Bay, Australia and continued to travel the globe acquiring alternative healing modalities. She trained in Thai yoga massage as well as yoga therapeutics while in south east Asia and upon her return to Toronto she enrolled and completed a diploma in Holistic Nutrition, at CSNN. Witnessing the extreme burnout and frustration in marine conservation she applied her collective knowledge helping students, volunteers and activists reduce anxiety and stress, through diet and movement. More recently she’s expanded her clientele, encouraging physical, mental and emotional balance to the broader community through nourishment coaching.

Throughout her personal healing journey Nikki has built strength and resilience, reset her digestive health, improved her overall mobility and found ease within her body and mind through mindfulness, which continues to nurture her daily. Nikki’s nourishment practice combines ancient wisdom taught by Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda with Evidence based research. She views nourishment as a symbiotic process; working with the universal elements has become an essential component to understanding ones’ self and thus ones’ healing. She thrives off uncovering root causes, knowing her own battles to unfold her discomforts. Nikki’s clients have referred to her as “compassionate and wise”, “creates a safe space to connect”, and “empower their growth through knowledge and intuition”. Nikki encourages cultivating a unique healing container for each client with a multi-disciplinary and trauma informed approach. Nikki’s regular practices include meditation, mindful movement, intuitive eating, nature, cottaging, hiking, SUPboarding, experimenting in the kitchen and enjoying time with her family.
